Looks like things are getting a bit tough for XXXTentacion. The rapper took to Instagram to announce that he would be retiring from music. He posted a photo stating:

"Sad to announce I will not be be making or releasing any music, I am tired of being mentally abused for trying to help people, I'm tired of the hate, I'm done."

Just a day ago, the rapper took to Instagram to announce that he'll be terminating his contract with Capitol Records. He wrote:

"Terminating my deal with "capitol records"" and underneath it, it read "I am not a "signed" artist and I will not be releasing music for a very long time. I'm tired of this shit."

This is a bit confusing for XXX fans and for many others. According to Variety, XXXTentacion's contract would have been with Capitol Records' indie distributor Caroline, not with Capitol and that $6 million figure that was tossed around, was "overstated."

But just yesterday, a rep for XXXTentacion told Spin, “XXXTentacion is signed to Caroline/Capitol Music Group...Only X can elaborate on his posts.”

Well, whether he is signed or not, it seems XXX is over it all. Fans will have to wait and see what comes out of all of this.
