XXXTentacion just made news after reportedly signing a deal with Capitol Music Group that's worth $6 million. XXX has seen his popularity skyrocket over the past year with his debut album 17 receiving critical acclaim debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard charts, being one of the featured names of the 2017 XXL Freshman Class, and already has a platinum-selling single with "Look At Me."

However, the Florida rapper's past dealings with women have surfaced and complicated the reception he's received from some fans. XXX, real name Jahseh Onfroy, has a pending domestic violence case hanging over his head that stems back before the fame and million dollar recording contracts. But XXXTentacion is making a concerted effort to make amends through his words of repentance and now a financial donation to domestic violence prevention. According to XXXTentacion, he will be donating $100K to the cause, stating:

I want to apologize to every single woman that I've ever disrespected or made feel violated...I would never intentionally try to make a woman feel uncomfortable or in danger by my own conscious will so in order to show progress in my life and remorse for my remark to the people that support me I want to let you know, that I will be donating over 100 thousand dollars, to domestic violence prevention programs
