Previously, Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual harassment, which led to many claims surfacing from women shortly after. Because of that, Harvey Weinstein announced that he would be resigning from The Weinstein Company. Now, a new report has surfaced saying his brother, Bob Weinstein, has been accused of sexual harassment as well.

Amanda Segel, the executive producer of a show on Spike TV called The Mist, which is based on a novel by Stephen King, claimed that Bob Weinstein tried to make advances to her by asking her out to dinner. According to the woman, Weinstein pressed her for a date on-and-off for about three months until she threatened to stop working on the show if he did not stop. Segel spoke to Variety, telling them, "'No' should be enough. After 'no,' anybody who has asked you out should just move on. Bob kept referring to me that he wanted to have a friendship. He didn’t want a friendship. He wanted more than that. My hope is that 'no' is enough from now on."

After that incident, Segel and Weinstein came to an agreement that she would work on the show as long as she didn’t have to be in the same room as him. Along with that, Segel was given the option of leaving the series if the show got green-lit for a second season.
