From starting out as a member of The Roots to becoming one of the best producers in the industry, Scott Storch is a well-known name in hip-hop. On his list of artists that he has worked with is Beyonce, 50 Cent, The Game, T.I., Chris Brown, Dr. Dre, Nas and more. And now he's back in the studio with Lil Wayne.
Less than a week from photos of Wayne being in the studio with Damian "Dame Dolla" Lillard and Storch, it seems that Weezy is back at it again. Storch produced the track that Wayne collaborated with Dame on, "Run it Up," hence why you can hear the track playing in the background.
Lillard sat down with HotNewHipHop to discuss the collaboration:
"The first one, I wrote that song, planning on probably being on it by myself, and then it was like Wayne will sound good on this, it was like the best track I could give to him to be on from that album," Damian tells us, "For this, that's what the plan was all along. So it's more up-tempo, and I think it's just a better song, it's probably my best song that I've put out or that I've done to this point."
Hopefully, we get a few more tracks from Wayne, Lillard & Storch soon.
