At the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump gave his first address. During his time, the president shared more of his thoughts on N. Korea threatening the US will "suffer the greatest pain" and their recent testing of nuclear weapons. In his address, Trump called N. Korea's leader Kim Jong-un "rocket man" and then he went on to say that if the US is forced to defend itself or it's allies then "we will have no choice but to totally destroy N. Korea." The president then followed it up by saying that Kim Jong-un is on a suicidal mission for self and his regime. Based on recent rhetoric stemming from both sides of this political feud, it seems like neither Jong-un or Trump is willing to give any leeway. After reassuring the United Nations that the US is "ready willing and able" the president also alluded to his reluctance to make the call to engage in military action by saying "hopefully this will not be necessary"
