Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof is weighing on the side of white supremacy in his mass murder trial, as it is reported that he has submitted a handwritten request to have his two lawyers replaced because their identities make them his natural born enemies.

"My two currently appointed attorneys, Alexandra Yates and Sapna Mirchandani, are Jewish and Indian, respectively," Roof wrote, in a note passed along to the judge presiding over his case on Monday, September 18. "It is therefore quite literally impossible that they and I could have the same interests relating to my case."

Due to a lack of sufficient financial resources, Roof has been forced to accept public defenders to fight in his defense. Roof, who killed nine in 2015 during bible study at the historic Emmanuel AME Church, has consistently rejected the attorneys appointed to him. It is noted that he usurped the tasks of his court-appointed lawyer, David Bruck, during the penalty phase of his trial, and at one point even threatened to kill him. Roof made reference to Bruck in the letter he passed on, on Monday, writing "His ethnicity was a constant source of conflict, even with my constant efforts to look past it."
