Hurricane Irma has finally hit Florida, and many areas are already feeling the effects of the monstrous storm. According to reports, Hurricane Irma was updated to a Category 4 storm over the last few hours. Governor Rick Scott spoke to the news during an interview on Sunday, saying “We don’t have the exact numbers on everyone who stayed in the Keys. I hope everyone listened.” Previously, he warned residents of the area to get out as soon as possible to avoid being caught up in the storm’s wrath and potentially losing their lives.

The storm has produced winds of over 130 miles per hour, and it was reported that the eye of the storm has not touched down in Key West, Florida. Now a video has surfaced of storm chasers trying to measure the winds of Irma in Key West. A video has surfaced showing a man called Simon Storm Rider getting out of his car and trying to stand against the wind to measure the miles per hour. During that trial, the man tried his best to stand but was constantly being knocked down as the wind blew hard. Watch above.
