This season of hurricanes has been amongst the worst ever in the history of the United States. A series of hurricanes continue to stalk Florida, with Irma at the helm ready to hit Miami Beach with all of her category 5 might. Irma has already devastated the Carribean Islands, claiming dozens of lives and leaving entire cities uninhabitable. The unprecedented storm has potentially caused the largest evacuation efforts ever, with millions fleeing the coast. Irma is expected to make landfall early Sunday morning.
Alternatively, Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston area, causing over $200 billion in damage and displacing hundreds of thousands. Massive relief efforts in form of a $15 billion aid package and huge contributions from celebrities and everyday people.
