It took a full 48 hours for Donald Trump to condemn hate groups like the KKK following a weekend of violent demonstrations in Charlottesville, VA.

Monday, Trump made an unscheduled press appearance to formally rebuke "hatred, bigotry, and violence," and, "criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists." But many saw his comments as nothing more than a cave-in to overwhelming pressure to denounce white nationalist movements. So, naturally, Trump took to Twitter to blame the "fake news media" for the continued criticism.

"Made additional remarks on Charlottesville and realize once again that the #Fake News Media will never be satisfied...truly bad people!" he wrote Monday evening.

Three CEOs have resigned from Trump councils in the wake of the Charlottesville demonstrations.
