Joycelyn Savage released another statement via video on Tuesday, July 18, this time to ask that her father back off of his mission to intervene in her relationship with R. Kelly. Joycelyn's father Tim Savage has been attempting to expose Kelly for harboring his daughter, who he believes is suffering from Stockholm Syndrom because of an abusive control he alleges Kelly has maintained over her.

“Dad, you know everything that’s going on with the media and the internet and what you have done is a complete disaster. You need to stop, because right now I am fed up with everything you are doing. You’re embarrassing me and the whole entire family,” Joycelyn said in the most recent recording.

Joycelyn originally responded to reports that she was being held against her will after BuzzFeed dropped a bombshell article which alleged per sources, that Kelly was holding up to six women in his homes in Atlanta and Chicago. While the alleged women are said to all be of consenting age, Mr. Savage and others have come forward to claim that their daily living habits are being controlled and that they cannot so much as leave their space without permission from the R&B singer.

In Tuesday's video, Joycelyn attempts to bring clarity to the reason she and her family are separated by making reference to an incident that might have marked a fall out between her and her father. “Honestly, you know the situation that had happened that night when I went to meet R. Kelly,” she said. “I would like for you—matter of fact, I would love for you to stop what you’re doing because I can’t believe you even went this far.”
