The father of alleged R. Kelly sex-cult victim Joycelyn Savage responded to R. Kelly's threat to sue him for making such accusations, on Tuesday, July 18. In a video posted to TMZ, Tim Savage sent a direct message to Joycelyn to let her know that she was in his prayers. But first, he addressed Kelly, who responded to the bombshell BuzzFeed report on his alleged cult by calling the allegations troubling and promising to pursue his accusers with the full measure of the law.

Savage told Kelly to go on and sue. While staring directly into the TMZ camera, he said that he is prepared to argue the matter in court and that if anyone ought to be afraid, it's Kelly. The message comes less than 24 hours after Joycelyn issued her own video response to the ordeal, in which she claimed to be ok and with Kelly by choice. Joycelyn would end the interview, however, by declining to disclose her whereabouts and refusing to answer if any more women were around.

Tim Savage has actually been going after Kelly since December. He has a five-part series of videos posted to YouTube in which he pleads for Kelly to release his daughter and meet up with him, all the while claiming that his beef isn't about money. Authorities have reportedly administered a welfare check on Kelly's residences as a result of complaints filed by Savage, but they found no evidence that anyone was being held against their will.
