Adrien Broner was sent back to the bing over his failure to appear in court for past hearings on Monday, May 21. The Cincinnati boxer came before a judge to plead guilty in a 2014 Kenton County bar incident that involved him being charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. But while he wasn't handed any jail time for the 3-year-old case, the judge ordered him to serve three days in jail for contempt of court.

The contempt charge caps off an accumulation of events that chased him into the hands of the law while ducking a warrant for the 2014 incident. Broner was being chased and shot at by gunmen after leaving a bar back in April when his bullet-riddled SUV was stopped. It was only when police ran his license that they realized Broner had an open warrant out for his arrest, thus leading to Monday's hearing on the matter.

It is not the first time AB is being jailed for contempt. He was forced to do 30 days behind bars in 2016 when he showed up late for an assault and armed robbery trial.
