Performing in front of the Fountains of Bellagio might sound like one of the drunk adventures straight out of “The Hangover” movies, but Drake actually did it in real life on Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards.

The performance was well hyped before the live broadcast by executive producer Mark Bracco. He told Billboard, “...it's gonna be a moment that people aren't exactly expecting.... It'll be memorable; I promise you that.”

Well, memorable would certainly be one way to describe what went down. Epic might be an even better word of choice to use when you explain to people what exactly happened when it came to Drizzy’s performance.

Standing on a platform in front of the iconic fountains with Baka (the no long talker) decked out in all white outfits, the OVO CEO dived right into his More Life hit, “Gyalchester.” Besides the fountains going off for the entirety of the track, pyrotechnics were placed around the stage and went off perfectly in sync with the beat and thuds of the bass. Even by Vegas standards, it lent for one mind blowing and over-the-top spectacle.

To get an idea of how much it costs to run the fountains, a club inside the Bellagio called Hyde Bellagio gives high rollers the chance to control the $40 million fountains for $250,000. That of course, comes with a 30-liter bottle of Ace of Spades. Anyways, back to the 6 God.

Drake also took home a record 13 awards, beating out Adele for most awards won in a single night. To cap it all off, the whole Young Money squad joined the “One Dance” singer on stage to accept his award for Top Artist.
