The release of Lil Wayne's Carter V is currently tied up in a legal battle that the rapper is having with his label Cash Money Records. However, that has not stopped his album from leaking. The leak came from pharmacy executive Martin Shkreli-- the man who purchased a Wu-Tang Clan album for millions of dollars. The first leak happened around Christmas 2016, and some music from the unreleased album surfacing on the internet. However, Wayne and his team did not sue Shkreli because he told them that he would not do it again. Now, five months later, Shkreli is back at it as he allegedly leaked two more joints from the unreleased album during a livestream he was conducting.

Since then, Wayne's lawyers along with Universal Music have hit Shkreli with multiple cease and desist letters for leaking more records. People from Wayne's camp noted that if Shkreli doesn't stop playing stuff from the unreleased project, the next time he does it will land him in court via a lawsuit.
