Drake canceled a show in Amsterdam this week due to food poisoning that required serious medical attention.

TMZ reports that the Toronto rapper was unable to hit the stage after he ate some bad sushi. The show was originally postponed for an hour and the delay prompted angry fans to throw drinks on the stage. Sources close to Drake told TMZ that he ate some bad sushi on Monday and wasn’t able to perform even with the delay. This is actually the third time that Drake has canceled a show in Amsterdam in recent years. The gig was rescheduled for March 29. This particular Boy Meets World tour stop was originally scheduled for January which explains why the fans lost their cool after just over an hour of waiting for Drizzy.

Meanwhile, Drake is scoring a huge win his “More Life” playlist which has generated a record amount of streams thus far. The project has earned him 505,000 equivalent album units in its first week based on streaming alone as there are no physical copies available yet. This made “More Life” the best-selling project since his last album “VIEWS” which launched in April of last year. Billboard reported that the playlist was streamed 90 million times in its first 24 hours alone on Apple Music. Aside from eating bad sushi and touring, Drake has been relatively quiet regarding the project. “More Life” features appearances from Young Thug, British Grime artists Giggs and Skepta along with a powerful duet with longtime frenemy Kanye West. It’s received a slew of positive reviews over the past few weeks from outlets like HipHopDX and even Joe Budden and co. at “I’ll Name This Podcast Later.” Budden famously accused Drake of being “uninspired” on his last album “VIEWS” which ignited a beef between the two.
