A Dutch event promoter was met with jeers and booing at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Monday night [March 27], as she stood center stage to announce that Drake would not be coming out to perform his "Boy Meets World" tour set due to illness.

"I'm really sorry to tell you that tonight's show cannot take place. Drake got sick. His doctor told him not to perform," she said in English, after informing the mostly Dutch crowd in their native language. Despite a cup or two filled with ice, along with a couple of other items of liter being tossed up at her, the promoter went on to ask concertgoers to "Please take another drink [and] leave the building." They were all directed to check out mojo.nl for any further announcements and promised that their tickets would remain valid for the rescheduled show on Wednesday.

Most in the crowd had good reason to be angry, as it is the third time the Amsterdam show has been postponed, with the original performance scheduled to have taken place on January 20 and 21, before being moved back to January 26 and 27, then finally postponed until this week. The three Amsterdam nights which remain will be the final shows of his European tour.
