Less than an hour after taking office, Donald Trump began signing executive orders, one of which was said to "Ease the burdens of Obamacare." The new president signed a series of other executive actions, most of which had to do with his cabinet appointees, his press secretary said.

Some of the executive actions were formal nominations for his cabinet picks, like Scott Pruitt for the head of the EPA, and John Kelly for the Department of Homeland Security. Trump also signed an order that created the "National Day of Patriotism."

While most of the executive actions Trump signed yesterday are primarily formal, repealing Obamacare is high on the list of Trump administration priorities.
