Within hours of taking office, Donald Trump signed an executive order to "ease the burdens of Obamacare" while Congress is working towards repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act. Trump was presented the paperwork by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who commented on it by saying it is "An executive order minimizing the economic burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act pending repeal."

Trump promised to replace the healthcare bill after his nominee for Secretary of Heath and Human Services, Rep. Tom Price, is confirmed.
