Earlier this week, Martin Luther King's son, Martin Luther King III, had a meeting with Donald Trump, which King called "constructive." The meeting garnered criticism for some, who pointed out that the meeting occurred right after Trump slammed civil rights leader and Georgia politician John Lewis for saying he doesn't think Trump is a legitimate president.

Comedian DL Hughley, who has been very vocal about his thoughts on politics lately, told his followers that Martin Luther King III was the "gator" of the King family. He tweeted, "Don't forget that Martin Luther King III tried 2 sell his fathers bible and nobel prize for money! He's the Gator of the king family."
