Ronald Gasser, 54, was formally arrested Monday [December 5] for the fatal shooting death of NFL running back, Joe McKnight during a road rage fit. According to USA Today, a news conference held by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is set for 11 a.m. ET, Tuesday [Decemeber 6] to discuss details of the ongoing case.

Last Friday, public outrage erupted after Gasser was released without being charged for shooting the 28-year-old three times with a semi-automatic handgun at an intersection in Terrytown, Louisana. While other motorist tended to McKnight's limp body, Gasser reportedly stayed on the scene and handed over his gun once officers arrived.
