Despite having past issues with Troy Ave, Manolo Rose says he meant no ill-will towards the "Doo Doo" artist by retweeting a crude message that insinuated the rapper should have lost his life. After many got wind of the insensitive message, the Coke Boyz rapper took to Instagram to clarify the retweet in the comments section of The Shade Room.

Rose goes on to explain that he was unaware of the shooting that took place at Irving Plaza that left Troy with a leg wound, his affiliate dead, and two others injured.

"Y'all crazy if y'all think I want da man dead. I didn't believe it was true. And I retweeted was I thought was a joke at the time," he wrote on Instagram. "Me and @TroyAve had our issues but I would never wish death on him. I will wish him a speedy recovery. #GodLevel." Manolo chalks it up as one insensitive joke, and what seems like bad timing on his part.
