Troy Ave was one of the four people who was shot Wednesday night (May 25), in the green room of New York venue Irving Plaza before T.I. was scheduled to perform. The Brooklyn rapper who was shot in the leg, has been receiving little sympathy from some on social media, even as it is being reported that one of his BSB crew members has lost his life in the shootout.

Troy has received much harsh criticism on social media in the past. After word spread about his injury it seems that negativity persisted. One user took to Twitter and wrote, "the worst thing about Troy Ave getting shot is him not dying." Manolo Rose who has had his own issue with Troy Ave in the past retweeted the sentiment.

Manolo Rose started making waves on the scene with his single, "Run Ricky Run" back in 2014. He also had a song entitled "Dope Man" that became Troy Ave's "All About The Money" and Manolo went on a few press runs to discuss how Troy ended up on the song and about how he was never paid for the record. The back and forth alluded to the possibility of Troy stealing the song and the two had what seems like a short lived beef afterwards.
