Over the weekend Chief Keef's cousin Marvin Carr - aka Capo - was shot and killed while in Chicago, and shortly afterwards his murderer ran over and killed 1-year-old Dillan Harris as he sat in his stroller. Chief Keef is reportedly "heartbroken and appalled" by the deaths and has since a planned a benefit concert in the little boy's honor.
Due to "outstanding warrants his legal team is addressing," Chief Keef will appear via hologram during the performance from a soundstage in Beverly Hills, CA. The Chi-town native - who currently resides in L.A. - says the concert will be his way of addressing the "out of control situation" in his hometown where the death toll continues to rise, despite Lil Durk's recent statement that the murder rate is "definitely slowing down."
Over the Fourth of July weekend at least 55 people were shot throughout several Chicago neighborhoods, with nearly a dozen of them succumbing to their injuries.
