It's been a little over two years since celebrity chef Paula Deen was exposed for making racist remarks, referring to Black waiters as slaves and admitting to using the n-word with friends and family. Now, at a time when America is filled with angst and tension due to racial hate crimes and police brutality taking over the media, the Georgia cook added fuel to the fire with a photo she uploaded of her and her son from a 2011 episode of her show, "Paula's Best Dishes."

"Lucyyyyyyy, You got a lot of esplainin' to do!" she wrote in her #TransformationTuesday post on both Twitter and Facebook. In the photo, Paula Deen is depicted as the title character from "I Love Lucy," with her son Bobby Deen cast as Ricky Ricardo - aka Desi Arnaz - , Lucille Ball's on and off-screen husband. Desi Arnaz was Cuban, and Bobby, wanting to portray the character as closely as possible, let a makeup artist paint him in brownface.

The tweet and the Facebook post were deleted soon afterwards, but not before it was screenshotted and criticized by the world. Take a look at the photo as well as Bobby undergoing the paint job in the gallery.
