It's been a mournful week in America as citizens are still trying to comprehend why 21-year-old Dylann Roof murdered nine people at a Charleston, South Carolina church last Wednesday (June 17). Per usual, many people in the entertainment industry have voiced their opinion on the situation, and as expected, most agree that this was an act of terrorism and Roof should be treated as a terrorist once he goes to trial. One rapper in particular who feels this way is Killer Mike, who shared his views on the matter while talking to fans on Twitter.
"I wish those folks in that church had been armed," he wrote as he spoke on the tragedy. The comment sparked quite the conversation as his followers chimed in and either sided with Mike or disagreed with his gun theory. "I'm not saying hey all people get a gun...If u don't want to fine, but, I cannot agree to say all guns are bad and help none." The civic leader and activist also expressed that he wishes every slave would have been armed as well.
