JC and Tay Roc squared off in the most recent Smack/URL "Born Legacy" battle event, and there was a great amount of drama that followed this battle, for mic issues severely interfered with JC's performance.  While most people in the venue felt as though Tay Roc's consistently hard hitting punch-lines overpowered JC, JC feels as though the battle might translate differently to the viewers once it is released on YouTube.  VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes, was present at the event and caught up with JC after his battle and spoke to him about how everything unfolded.

JC believes that his penmanship is top notch, and feels as though he won the first and third round giving him a 2-1 victory over Tay Roc.  He went on to address how much the microphone problems really limited his ability to perform up to his full potential, and numerous Battle Rap fans who attended the event even walked in front of the cameras and cosigned his gripes about mic issues.  He also addressed the topic of a potential crowd bias occurring during that battle, for when the two men were introduced, Tay Roc got a much larger cheer from the crowd than JC did.

You decide who won the battle once the footage gets released.
