Kodak Black and Latto were both nominated for the Song of the Year at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday, and Latto ultimately won for her hit single "Big Energy."

After losing, Kodak took to Instagram to sound off, and he pointed out that Latto blocked him. He stated, "This whole sh** looked like a damn plot. Then I look at the 'gram like what shorty blocked me for? They probably hollerin' at BET, like don't give him that sh**. I told [people] weeks ago. Watch they finna play with me and give it to frappuccino."

Latto then took to Instagram with a response by posting a series of photos, which she captioned, "Frappucino."

Kodak didn't end his thoughts, as he took to Twitter, where he wrote, "Don’t just simply give it to somebody kuz they a woman!!! If that’s the case y’all shoulda gave Song Of The Year to Glorilla. Not that hating a*** mutt."

Kodak then targeted BET EVP Connie Orlando on Twitter, writing, "@ConnieOrlando Needs To B Fired! Dat Stupid A** Song Ain’t Move Nobody! Forget About Me At This Point ! AT LEAST ‘F*** N***a Free’ Was A Anthem ! Tf You Think SONG OF THE YEAR Mean? Boycott @Connieorlando & @BET Y’all Lame Af & Y’all Not Really For The People Fr ! BET WATERED DOWN!"
