Nia Long has been dealing with a scandal related to her fiancé Ime Udoka, who was caught cheating with a fellow employee on the Boston Celtics. Their relationship was described as an “intimate” one, and the person even helped arrange travel for Long at one point. Long previously issued a statement following the news, saying she would continue to focus on her children despite the “difficult time.” Now, Long has been asked about the possibility of working things out with Udoka and offered an interesting response.
Long was seen walking in a parking lot, where camera people approached her. One person said hello to the actor before asking how she was holding up. “I don’t have any comments right now, I’m sorry,” said Long. When asked if she and Udoka were going to work things out, Long seemingly laughed off the question before entering her vehicle. Watch above.

The situation involving Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka has made headlines, as it was noted the coach reportedly had an “improper relationship” with a fellow female staff member. Because of that, he was suspended for one year. Now, Nia Long has broken her silence amid the scandal.
While speaking to People, Long said, “The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me.” She continued, “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”
Long and Udoka were engaged since 2015 and have one son together. Stay tuned for more updates.
