Update 08/10/2022 9:03am:

Angela Yee clarified her tweet about "The Breakfast Club" being "officially over" during Wednesday's (August 10) episode of the hit radio show.

Angela revealed that she's getting her own show, "This is really exciting. This is something that I’ve been waiting to do for years now, way before the pandemic. I had actually sat down with our big boss … and I was telling her, like, ‘Look, I really wanna have my own show.’ You know, I have my podcast Lip Service and I was thinking I would be able to get something like a weekend situation."

Angela went on to reveal that her boss at iHeart came to her with the opportunity to start her own show, which she says will start sometime this fall. Until then, she will remain on The Breakfast Club.

One-third of The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee, took to Twitter on Tuesday to drop a bombshell of an announcement.

The longtime media personality tweeted that the fan favorite radio show is "officially over" as we currently know the show to be comprised. ""The breakfast club as you know it is officially over," she wrote, but provided little context as to what this actually means.

More information will undoubtedly become public in the coming days following Yee's announcement.
