According to US Customs and Border Protection officials, a woman was detained after allegedly smuggling in fentanyl pills in her vagina.
Officers at the Bridge of the Americas border crossing in El Paso intercepted the package after a CBP canine alerted officers. During the pat-down search, officers say the woman voluntarily offered to remove the condom filled with fentanyl pills.
The pills were reportedly inside a special container designed to comfortably fit inside the vaginal cavity and contained roughly 0.006 pounds of the powerful drug.
