Previously, Keyshia Cole and Ashanti were set to face off in a Verzuz. The battle was anticipated by many but was canceled a couple of hours ahead of time before the two could appear in the same room. Ashanti would go to reveal the reason why the Verzuz was canceled, saying she contracted COVID-19.
While on IG Live with Ashanti, Keyshia Cole said, “I don’t really think that people should be down talking about real health pandemic. And it’s a scare that’s going on. We’re just gonna bring it right back. We’re gonna do it for the ladies, [just] how to fellas just did it last week, we are going to do it for the ladies, and we’re gonna make it a good time.
