According to police reports, ‘Home Improvement’ star Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for reportedly strangling his girlfriend.
The actor was arrested this past Friday night in Eugene, Oregon, after neighbors called police for help upon hearing what sounded like a scuffle. Once police got on the scene, they found the 39-year-old actor sitting out of his apartment, while the woman he was allegedly strangling was hiding at a friend’s apartment not too far away.
Police also noted that the actor tried to take the woman’s phone from her when she tried to call the cops on him. The woman was able to get away from Bryan. The actor was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, strangulation, and interfering with making a report. He is currently still booked at the Lane County Jail.
