According to reports and video footage that surfaced, Buffalo Bills player Ed Oliver Jr. was arrested for driving while intoxicated this past Saturday night. Along with that, the defensive tackle was illegally carrying a gun in his vehicle.

Police were alerted after a citizen made a 911 call to report Oliver allegedly swerving super close to a construction zone in his truck. The player reportedly had a trailer with a dune buggy hitched to his pickup, which caused police to catch up to Oliver and pull him over. When police approached Oliver, they said the 22-year-old had an open can of beer in between his legs.

From there, Oliver allegedly failed a sobriety test, and police found a pistol while searching his vehicle. As a result, Oliver was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon, as well as a DWI charge. Police say the defensive tackle was taken to a hospital so that his blood alcohol level could be recorded before he was locked up.
