An ultra-rare 1-of-1 basketball card sporting patches from LeBron James and Michael Jordan's game-worn jerseys was recently sold for $900,000, making it the most expensive basketball card ever.

According to TMZ Sports, the 2003-2004 Upper Deck "Exquisite Collection" card was sold privately by Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions this week. The card is also the most expensive Michael Jordan and LeBron James merchandise ever sold. The previous record for most expensive basketball card was a 1969-1970 Topps Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) card that sold for just over $500K in 2016.
