Delonte West's former college teammate Jameer Nelson spoke out in light of a viral video of West being beaten up by a man and later questioned by police.

Nelson reveals he's been in contact with West over the past few months, and while he's offered help to Delonte, he made it clear that Delonte needs to be open to getting help for himself. Nelson and West's former St. Joseph's coach Phil Martelli also spoke out via Twitter, writing, "Over the past several hours I have talked with many who are willing to help - please read and embrace Jameer’s wisdom - we are reaching out to our basketball network to get the professional help Delonte needs. This is so very painful."

Dez Bryant also revealed that he's looking into getting West some help, stating that he needs to be in rehab. NBA reporter Clevis Murray also revealed that the Lakers were talking about the viral video of Delonte in their locker room on Tuesday (January 21), leading many to believe that West's former teammate LeBron James will address the situation.
