A North Carolina man has been charged with simple assault after charging at a high school opponent of his son's during a wrestling tournament. Barry Lee Jones rushed the student-athlete after he forcibly slammed Jones's son to the mat. Reports say the student was not injured in the attack. Jones also received a disorderly conduct charge and was released on a $1,000 bond.
