Update 09/19/2019 1:31pm:

Tekashi took the stand on day three of his trial, where he named Jim Jones as a member of the Nine Trey Bloods. He also revealed why he's testifying in his case, telling a federal prosecutor that he was doing it to get time served through his 5K letter. The letter is given to the court to make clear that the defendant, which is Tekashi in this case, has cooperated. When asked if he was testifying to get the 5K letter or to help the government, Tekashi said it is "a little bit of both."

Tekashi went on to say that if he were granted time served through the 5K letter, he would be out at the beginning of next year. Tekashi also confirmed that he isn't being charged with firing a gun at the Barclays Center, which you can read about along with the full transcripts for the first half of his third day in court above.
