Previously, news surfaced noting that Jay-Z is set to become part-owner of an NFL franchise, which has caused much backlash. Eric Reid recently spoke out about Jay-Z’s decision, and now Marcellus Wiley has chimed in with his thoughts.

Via Twitter, Wiley posted a VladTV link on Reid’s comments and said the following: "Disgusted again by his emotional thinking! Obviously, @E_Reid35 thinks you can win a chess match w/no pieces on the board! #ignant Remember... 'Discontent for money is just a trick of the rich to keep the poor without it!'"

Colin Kaepernick's right-hand man and fellow protester Eric Reid recently spoke out about reports that JAY-Z will reportedly become a part-owner of an NFL franchise and didn't mince words. While donning an "I'm With Kap" jersey, Reid told reporters:

"JAY-Z claimed to be a supporter of Colin [...] Wore his jersey. Told people not perform at the super bowl because of the treatment that the NFL did to Colin and now he's going to be a part-owner. It’s kind of despicable."

Reid has been critical of the entire deal since it became public, writing on Twitter about the entertainment and social justice partnership: "Interesting timing on the partnership with Jay-Z on the heels of Stephen Ross’ fundraiser for Donald Trump and the backlash his other companies are getting because of it. #PayAttentionFolks"
