L.A. rapper Drakeo the Ruler was acquitted of all charges of murder and attempted murder at the Compton Courthouse on Thursday (July 25) for murdering 24-year-old Davion Gregory in 2016.

According to The Fader, the jury was hung on the second count of criminal street gang conspiracy and Drakeo will remain in prison until they decide whether to refile on August 1st. In addition, he was convicted on a charge of felony gun possession by a felon and is expected to get time served. 

Drakeo's co-defendants, including his brother Ralfy The Plug and Mikell Buchanan, were convicted on Thursday. Ralfy was convicted on one count of possession of an assault rifle and "multiple" charges of commercial burglary, while Buchannan was convicted of murder and attempted murder with a gang enhancement. Buchannan is facing life without parole.
