Previously, news surfaced that R. Kelly would be indicted on federal charges for sex trafficking. Now, more news has surfaced saying that charges may be coming for R. Kelly’s inner circle in connection with the alleged federal sex crimes.
Two of R. Kelly’s advisors—Derrel McDavid and Milton Brown were indicted. McDavid, who is Kelly’s former manager was hit with four charges, one of which included allegedly helping to cover up the singer’s crimes in the form of paying out victims to keep quiet and collecting video evidence of Kelly allegedly committing sex crimes. McDavid was released on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to be back in court next week.
