Chris Paul and the Houston Rockets have been in the news as of late for all the wrong reasons. The narrative coming out of Houston following the disappointing loss to the Kevin Durant-less Golden State Warriors, there were numerous reports of tension between CP3 and James Harden. Just last week there were rumblings that Paul wanted a trade and actually demanded the front office ship him out somewhere else. The most recent report had Harden's and Paul's relationship characterized as "unsalvageable."

Bleacher Report shared the report on IG which apparently caught the eye of Chris Paul who commented playfully, "Damn! That's news to me." Houston Rockets beat writer Jonathan Feigen wrote on Twitter:

"A thoroughly exasperated Daryl Morey said Chris Paul and his reps have never asked to trade him and he will be on Rockets next season. Said he and Harden do not have issues with one another and that he has spoken to both often this off-season about free agency evaluations, plans."

If everything is cool between Houston's two marquee players, it should interesting to see how they stack up in the Western Conference next season as Denver looks to take another step forward and the Lakers arming themselves for a championship run.
