Back in January of 2015, Suge Knight drove his vehicle into two men during a fatal hit-and-run that took the life of his associate Terry Carter, which then led the former Death Row CEO to be sentenced to 28 years after he pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter.

During the time of the incident, surveillance footage was released after it was illegally sold to TMZ through Suge's business partner Mark Blankenship, who recently pleaded no contest to one felony count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. As a result of the plea, Blankenship has been sentenced to five years of formal probation and must pay $55,000 in restitution to Tam's Burgers, the restaurant where the surveillance footage was obtained from.

The plea arrives nearly two years after Suge's fiancee, 38-year-old Toi-Lin Kelly, pleaded no contest to one count of conspiracy to violate a court order back in October of 2017, who was also sentenced to five years of formal probation and the same $55,000 worth of restitution.

The surveillance footage in question had been sealed for the murder trial in regards to Suge's case, where prosecutors have alleged that Suge conspired with Kelly to sell the footage to TMZ for $55K, after initially attempting to sell it for as much as $150K. Additionally, Kelly was also sentenced last year to three years in jail for violating the terms of her probation, following accusations that she helped Suge arrange jailhouse phone calls.
