Following his impressive rookie campaign with the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young was gifted a custom diamond chain from one of the city's most notable artists.

The rising star took to social media to reveal that Quavo hooked him up with the "Ice Trae" chain made by famous ATL jeweler Wafi, as the Migos star can be seen presenting him the jewelry while stating "welcome to the A... young Rookie of the Year in my book."

With that said, although Young started 81 games this year while averaging 19.1 points and 8.1 assists, Dallas Mavericks PG Luka Doncic is expected to take home the award. Interestingly enough, Young was originally drafted by the Mavericks with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 draft, where he was then traded to the Hawks for a future first-round pick as well as the rights to Doncic who was picked third.

Nonetheless, it appears the city of Atlanta has found their point guard of the future, while it should be noted that Quavo previously crashed Young's postgame interview to promise that the "Ice Trae" chain was on the way.
