Lena Waithe, creator of The Chi, was the guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live recently but said she was a bit nervous about the gig. She was eventually consoled by Halle Berry who said to her during the monologue, "I know that you are a force of nature. You are a beautiful African American queen. [...] Lena, tonight you are a writer, an actor, a producer, and tonight you are a late night comedian and you 'bout to slay. And you already winnin' girl 'cause you are dressed way better than Jimmy ever was."
After saying those words, Halle Berry planted a fat kiss on Lena, much to the writer's surprise and delight.
