Over the weekend, 17-year-old Braxton Moral graduated from his high school in Ulysses, Kansas, and now only weeks later the high school graduate is set to receive his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

"My parents noticed I was bored in school and needed something to inspire growth, so they ended up finding the Extension School," Moral said of the school designed for nontraditional learners, which he revealed to CNN he was enrolled in by the age of 11.

Though most courses can be taken online, Extension School students must also earn 16 credit hours in person at Harvard's campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where Moral majored in government with a minor in English.

As many have been left to wonder how it's possible to study for high school and Harvard at the same time, the gifted teenager noted that officials at his high school took a lot of the load off, allowing him to spend a couple of hours each day working on Harvard's coursework.

Moral is now publishing a book about his experience titled "Harvard in the Heartland," as he now hopes to study law at Columbia University.
