Young Money rapper Flow, real name Widner Degruy, was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday (May 14) for the double murder of brothers Kendred and Kendrick Bishop in New Orleans East. The 27-year-old rapper was convicted on April 8 of two counts of second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit second-degree murder.
Prosecutors claim Flow killed the brothers for stealing $8,000 and two guns from his girlfriend’s car a week earlier, which Flow denied. He claims that his co-defendant Jonathan Evans and Evans’ now deceased cousin were the ones who killed the Bishop brothers because Jonathan had a problem with Kendred Bishop.
