Stephen Falkenberg took the idea of a crime of passion to another level after allegedly murdering and dismembering the body of his girlfriend after accusing her of cheating. Tamara LaFramboise's remains were found in a creek near rural Michigan by a group of boys playing near the water. Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks said the boys made the discovery on Saturday but noted that the head, hands, and feet had all been removed from the body.

LaFramboise's mother reported her missing on March 5 before it was discovered of her grisly fate. According to court documents, Falkenberg and LaFrambroise were in a heated dispute over accusations of cheating levied by Falkenberg. A physical altercation ensued which eventually led to Laframboise's death according to authorities.

Falkenberg has been charged with second-degree murder and has his bond set at $1 million.
