Following months of contentious debates over whether or not Kylie Jenner should be considered "self-made," what's now been confirmed is that she's officially the world's youngest billionaire no matter how you want to call it. Forbes just released their annual list of the world's richest people for 2019, and sure enough, Kylie hit the milestone of one billion that was predicted earlier last year.

Interestingly enough, Forbes has apparently doubled-down on the claim that Kylie is, in fact, a "self-made" billionaire after all, while noting that the last self-made billionaire was Mark Zuckerberg, who through Facebook reached the milestone at the age of 23.

Kylie, however, has reportedly earned her billion dollar net worth through her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, and in doing so she's become the youngest billionaire ever at the age of 21. "I didn’t expect anything," Kylie told Forbes upon hearing the news, "I did not foresee the future. But (the recognition) feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back."

Meanwhile, whether the idea of Kylie being self-made will still be left up to interpretation, what can't be dismissed is the power and influence of the Kardashian family.
