Joel Embiid is known for his lack of filter which has ingratiated him with the media up to this point in his career. Whether reporters catch Embiid after a huge loss or a crucial win, he's sure to provide a soundbite. After the Sixers fell to the Celtics on Tuesday night, Embiid spoke with reporters at the post-game presser and took responsibility for his shortcomings on the floor. But Joel closed out the press conference with an additional factor into the Sixers' loss as he emphatically stated: "the referees f***ing suck."
Embiid is sure to hear from the league office after that statement, and a fine is almost certain for him after his remark.
