Previously, ‘Extra’ host AJ Calloway faced two allegations of sexual assault. Now, Calloway has reportedly been suspended while the investigation into the alleged sexual assault is pending.
Warner Bros. Television released a statement saying “In light of additional allegations brought to our attention, we are expanding our ongoing inquiries, and Mr. Calloway has been suspended pending further review. We take such allegations very seriously and are committed to doing everything we can to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace for all of our employees."
Extra host AJ Calloway is facing two more allegations of sexual assault following allegations from writer Sil Lai Abrams back in June. Abrams also claimed that she spoke with nine other women who shared similar stories of Calloway's alleged sexual misconduct.
While a police report was filed on December 24 by one of the alleged victims, a spokesperson for Extra revealed that there are no plans to investigate Calloway. The statement read, "We take allegations made against our employees seriously and investigate appropriately. To date, we have not received a complaint about A.J. Calloway and his work on Extra."
